EVRAZ finishes charity project, transfers collected protective gear to hospitals in Siberia, Urals

EVRAZ has shipped 100,000 face masks, 55,500 pairs of gloves, 5,500 shoe covers, 1,000 protective glasses, and 3,500 litres of antiseptic liquid to medical facilities of Siberia and Urals. This contribution was made possible thanks to the social-media based charity project We Run No Risks.

EVRAZ started the project back in April. Everyone could join, posting a selfie in VKontakte or Instagram using a special frame and a hashtag #SayNoToRisk. The project was a reminder that safety is the first priority at EVRAZ.

Today, one need to care even more about health and avoid risks, while helping family and friends cope with the difficult situation.

Over five thousand people took part in the project. Importantly, they were not only from EVRAZ – opinion leaders sportsmen, and actors from local communities supported the initiative.

All in all, since the pandemic broke out, EVRAZ has allocated more than RUB 300 million to protect its employees and support medical and pre-school facilities in Sverdlovsk and Kemerovo regions, Moscow, and Tula.
