EVRAZ Nizhny Tagil Metallurgical Plant (EVRAZ NTMK) is an integrated metallurgical complex located in Nizhny Tagil, Sverdlovsk region. Nizhny Tagil is one of the oldest steel production and mining centers in Russia, the craddle of the Urals metallurgy.
EVRAZ NTMK is one of the largest in Russia steel production plants with complete processing cycle. It consists of coke-chemical production facilities, blast furnaces, a converter shop and a number of rolling mills. In 2016 EVRAZ NTMK produced 4.8 million tonnes of pig iron, 4.2 million tonnes of steel.
EVRAZ NTMK is also the world’s biggest processor of vanadium-enriched titan ferrous ores with succeeding vanadium recovery in blast oxygen furnaces and in oxygen converters using special technologies.
EVRAZ NTMK's main products are railway goods (wheels and rails), construction products and pipe blanks, as well as semi-finished products.
EVRAZ NTMK's products meet Russian and international standards. EVRAZ NTMK's products have received various Russian and foreign certifications, including certification of continuous casting slabs by international corporation Lloyd's Register (Great Britain).
