Since June 2008, Evraz Group’s North American subsidiary operates under a new name, Evraz Inc. NA. As one of the most diversified steel manufacturing companies in North America, Evraz Inc. NA represents annual capacity of approximately 5 million tons of rolled steel product and 1 million tones of crude steel, together with own scrap collecting facilities.
Headquartered in Portland, Oregon, Evraz Inc. NA operates plants and works in eight locations: Portland (Oregon), Claymont (Delaware), Pueblo (Colorado) in the USA and Regina (Saskatchewan), Calgary, Camrose, Red Deer (Alberta), and Surrey (British Columbia) in Canada. The flexible production capabilities of Evraz Inc. NA are focused at providing a wide array of high margin specialty and commodity steel products currently in demand: plate, coiled plate, welded and seamless pipe for oil and gas applications, structural tubing, rail and wire rod/bar.
Evraz Inc. NA takes a dynamic approach to operations, using the flexibility and high quality of its manufacturing facilities to respond quickly to changes in the marketplace for maximum efficiency and cost savings.

Facilities

  • Evraz Oregon Steel
    The Evraz Oregon Steel rolling mill was the first plate mill in North America to be ISO 9002 certified. With the unique capability to produce both discrete plate and coil in both custom and standard sizes, it offers our customers excellent quality in a full range of sizes and specifications. Conveniently located adjacent to the Rolling Mill, the Oregon Steel Spiral Pipe Mill converts steel coils from the rolling mill into high-strength, large-diameter API-grade pipe for high-pressure natural gas and oil transmission lines as well as for structural applications.
  • Evraz Rocky Mountain Steel
    Established in 1881, Rocky Mountain Steel (then known as the Colorado Fuel and Iron Company) helped to build the American west. Today, Evraz Rocky Mountain Steel produces the finest steel products available, including rail, seamless pipe, rod and coiled reinforcing bar.
  • Evraz Claymont Steel
    Evraz Claymont Steel focuses on customers with special product and service needs. Its facilities are specifically configured to provide low-cost steel plate in small order sizes and non-standard dimensions.
  • Evraz Regina Steel
    The largest steel company in Western Canada, Evraz Regina Steel (formerly a part of IPSCO Tubular) is a mini-mill recycling steel scrap and producing carbon steel slabs, flat rolled discrete plate and coil. The energy tubular product line has three major components – oil and gas well casing and tubing, small diameter line pipe and large diameter line pipe.
  • Evraz Camrose Works
    Evraz Camrose Works operates two pipe mills. The first is an electric-resistance-weld (ERW) mill that manufactures pipe and casing up to 16 inches in diameter. The second mill is produces large-diameter pipe used for larger transmissions lines.
  • Evraz Calgary Works
    Evraz Calgary Works is an important supplier to the North American OCTG (Oil Country Tubular Goods) energy market. This ERW pipe mill specializes in oil and gas well casing and tubing and heat treating.
  • Evraz Red Deer Works
    The Red Deer Works is an ERW pipe mill producing small diameter OCTG & line pipe, and HSS products. This facility is a valued supplier in the energy tubular and industrial pipe markets in North America.
  • Evraz Surrey Works
    The Surrey site is home to a cut-to-length processing center where plate and sheet are cut to meet customer requirements.
