Evraz produces steel at NTMK, Zapsib and NKMK. In addition to these three steel plants, Evraz produces rolled products from semi-finished products (primarily slabs) at Evraz Palini e Bertoli and at Evraz Vitkovice Steel. Evraz also produces various steel products at Oregon Steel and Highveld. In January 2008, Evraz completed the purchase of a 100% stake in Claymont Steel. In December 2007, Evraz signed an agreement to purchase DMZP. Also, in December 2007, Evraz signed an agreement to purchase the Ukrainian Coking Plants. On 18 February 2008, Evraz purchased an approximate 10% stake in Delong Holdings, which, among other assets, owns Delong Steel. In March 2008, Evraz announced the acquisition of certain assets of IPSCO Canada, a steel and pipe producer.

Steel
ZSMK
Zapsib is the largest steel mill in the Siberian region and the eastern-most steel mill in the Russian Federation. It occupies an area of over 3,000 hectares and is located 25 kilometres from the city of Novokuznetsk, in the Kemerovo region. In 2007, Zapsib produced 5.3 million tonnes of pig iron, 6.5 million tonnes of steel and 5.8 million tonnes of rolled products.

NTMK
NTMK is located in Nizhny Tagil, Sverdlovsk region, approximately 140 kilometers north of Ekaterinburg and approximately 1,100 kilometers north-east of Moscow. Nizhny Tagil is one of the oldest mining and steel production centers in Russia. NTMK currently occupies an area of approximately 1,490 hectares, most of which it owns. In 2007, NTMK produced 5.4 million tonnes of pig iron, 5.8 million tonnes of steel, and over 5.2 million tonnes of rolled products.

NKMK is an integrated iron and steel plant and one of the five largest rail producers in the world, based in the city of Novokuznetsk, Kemerovo region. In 2007, NKMK produced 1.47 million tonnes of pig iron, 1.46 million tonnes of steel and 1.8 million tonnes of rolled products.

Evraz Vítkovice Steel is a leading European manufacturer of rolled steel products located in Ostrava, Czech Republic. It is one of Europe’s top producers of heavy plates and is the only one producer in the Czech Republic. In 2007, it produced about 890,000 tonnes of steel and 917,000 tonnes of rolled products, comparing to 800.000 tonnes of steel and 860.000 tonnes of rolled products in 2006.

Evraz estimates that DMZP is Ukraine’s ninth-largest steel producer. Its total annual output in 2007 was 1.8 million tonnes of pig iron and 1.3 million tonnes of crude steel.

Ukrainian Coking Plants
The Ukrainian Coking Plants comprise three coking plants located in Ukraine: Bagleykoks, Dneprkoks and Dneprodzerzhinsk. In 2007, Dneprkoks, Bagleykoks and Dneprodzerzhinsk produced approximately 715 thousand tonnes, 694 thousand tonnes and 634 thousand tonnes, respectively, of metallurgical coke.
