By 2006 more than 1.5 billion tonnes of iron ore were extracted in EVRAZ Kachkanarsky Ore Mining and Processing Enterprise.
- The copper extracted in EVRAZ Visokogorsky Ore Mining and Processing Enterprise was used for facing the Statue of Liberty constructed in 1886.
EVRAZ holds a total of 41 exploration and production licenses with respect to its mining operations in Russia, 3 licenses in Ukraine and 6 licenses in South Africa, which expire between 2012 and 2053. None of EVRAZ’s mining licenses has ever been revoked or suspended.
